Our guest for today's show is Nick Giulioni. Nick has been on the marketplace management side of e-commerce for the last ten years. He started his career as a buyer for Newegg but soon realized that it was not where he wanted to be. He subsequently moved through several different electronics companies, using the networks he had built at Newegg to move from one position to the next. More recently, he has been managing Amazon for tier 1 vendors in the electronics and gaming category.
In today's episode, Nick shares his story and experience, he talks about the kind of accounts that he was handling for the various gaming and electronics companies he used to work for, he discusses the down-side of being a vendor, and he shares something important for brands to consider when selecting a strategic business model that would be the best fit for them.
